Since the new video ipods are out, I thought I would post this video I made a while back while on tour with American Heartbreak. We arrived at a gig in East Germany and the place looked like a gas chamber from WWII. So I got this crazy idea to make a movie. This is how you amuse yourself in 0 degree freezing cold in the middle of nowhere in Europe.
I hope it doesn’t offend anyone. We were just having some fun on the road.
I have never done a video blog entry before, so hopefully it will make it to iTunes without any problems.

yeah good idea to show the A.H. videos again : with this new media you already have prepared vidcasts to spread until the N°3000, isn’t it ?
A wish next time : Rotterdam 2001-Genius of Crack
Am I not a geek ?…:)
I enjoyed the video, cool. I would like to see more American Heartbreak live concert videos.
Adding video to podcasts will add another dimension to the medium. With Flickr also.
Now you know why the Radio Industry is is being over run by podcasting. The Podcasters are giving the audience what they want without the fluff.
yeah…well done, dipshit. your momma must be very proud.
‘just having some fun on the road’ my ass
Lighten up, dickhead.
erhmmm, with all due respect, i think it needs to be recognised that not everybody can take a light-hearted view of WWII and Nazi-themed jokes. i have many European friends who have vivid memories of what happened to their grandparents, parents, other family members and friends during that period in history… it’s not the least bit humorous to them. also, imvho, isn’t this sort of humor an insensitive and hurtful thing for Germans?
sometimes, Americans are rather naïve to the profound impact this sort of humor has on others who may be a bit closer to the horror of that historical time.
having said this, i think videocasting is a very exciting concept…. perhaps, there might be another American Heartbreak video that could be posted as a downloadable videocast?
you’re right Donna, this video is not funny for anybody that’s why I asked quickly another one..Genius of crack will be surely more appreciated by Mike’s female fans club…:)
Go ahead Mike…cinema, it’s Sunday night here !
I am not making fun of the holocaust any more than Hogan’s Heros was or Mel Brooks was in the Producers. Or Charlie Chaplin in The Little Dictator (or whatever that movie was called.) You could make an argument that Speilberg was capitalizing on it by making Schindler’s List.
Is Political correctness back? I thought we were over that lousy fad.
Actually, I was marching the band onstage to play if you really watch the thing.
But on the subject of anti semitism, I never even really understood why people had a problem with Jewish people. I guess that is more ignorance on my part.
