  1. I don’t really like podcasts about podcasts, but that was pretty interesting. She sounded very intelligent and well spoken for a stripper.

    I do prefer the shows with interviews of musicians better.

    BTW the hangmen song was really good. I’ll have to check out more of their stuff.

    PS: Don’t know what kind of strippers you hang out with on a daily basis, but the number I’ve worked with over the past 7 years that have gone on to get advanced degrees, start their own businesses, raise kick-ass kids, and just in general bring a level of sanity to an insane world is pretty damned high.

  3. Melissa, sorry if I offended you or your friends. My impression is that you are not typical, and I could be wrong about that.

    As far as the strippers that I have met, there seemed to be a lot from russia or croatia for some reason. Do you know whay that is?

  4. No offense taken, Joe — not really, anyway. I can’t say that I’m an untypical dancer, either — sex workers are all kinds, and I’ve met as many strippers from my general demographic as I have from radically different backgrounds.

    I wonder where you live to come into contact with so many Russian & Croatian dancers? Are they friends, or folks you’ve met in a commerical context?
