Great to hear Material Issue. That band was pop perfection. You mentioned Freak City Soundtrack, but Destination Universe and International Pop Overthrow were outstanding albums as well. I’m glad I got to see them play a couple times.

Thanks for reviewing and promoting Joan Jett and the Blackhearts’ new album SINNER. You’re not the only big hetro fan of Joan. My husband and I have been FANatical obsessed fans since the early 80s. The new video for “A.C.D.C.” is killer. I got to see it for the first time on Steve’s Untitled Rock Show [Fuse TV] and on VH1 Classic’s Classic/Current show. We’ll be seeing the band in Detroit on the Warped Tour too. It should be a short sweet and very rockin’ set. Good luck trying to get an interview.
PS Joan is supposed to be a guest on Peaches 3rd album called IMPEACH MY BUSH due out on July 11th.
