Michael, I dig the show and I am not a fan of Daughtry, but you may have douched him a little harshly.
I am not sure where he sang the anthem, but it looked liked it was cold as balls out there, possibly Chicago. Perhaps the cold temps and wind in his face caused his eyes to water and he wasn’t necessarily getting emotional on us. I assume that is what his management will say. Just a thought.
I love the show, it is one podcast I look forward to every week.
