Reel Reviews was one of the first podcasts i regularly listened to… Geoghegan does a great job of insightfully discussing films without giving away the plot.
regarding the idea that some podcasting ‘purists’ are not supportive of the monetization of the medium… i suppose there are those folks of this mindset out there. there are also some of us out here that want to see our fav podcasters be able to generate income from their efforts, but we would like to see them reap ALL the benefits from their hard work and talent and not get only a cut of the action that business moguls might allow to trickle down the pyramid 😉 bravo to Michael Geoghegan for having stayed independent.
hey michael, i really enjoyed this stuff; i don’t know about your other listeners, but i could listen to podcasters talking shop forever. take care dude.
Hello Michael,
I am a regular RNRGS but I especially loved this show with the interview.
Keep it coming!
Pierre – Host for the PCC (Le Podcast de la Cabane au Canada)
Loved listening to a podcast interview with Michael & Michael while reading the book that just arrived from Ammzon, UK -to my home here in Farum Denmark. I’m a regular listener and chat participant in the edtechtalk podcast every Sunday at 2 pm GMT. They even invited me for a spontaneous Skype interview some weeks ago – to talk about a weekend course in blogging was facilitating at Knowplace.
Ever since I’ve been sold – simply need to find out how to work around podcasting on my kichen table – how can teachers to make language learners want to listen and talk?
This is what Webheads are talking about – every week, from all over the world. Just listen – so many different accents!
I’ll follow up with postings in my blog about this book and what I get to know, from now on.
Reel Reviews was the show that got me into listening to podcasts somehow. This is a very nice informative show. Since I like the technical details, I really enjoyed it, even the bitrate discussion :).
