good idea, Michael. earlier today, i donated via iTunes.
also, thinking of volunteering for American Red Cross field activities, too.
Dude
all i wanted to say was that i appreciate you did that
though i dont live in the states let alone new orleans
but i commend you for your efforts
i’ve heard from a friend that the Dutch are sending a Naval hospital ship up from Curaçao and are arranging for a team of hydro-engineers to come over to help with the broken levee system. nobody has more expertise than the Dutch when it comes to living successfully on land that is below sea-level so i think their empathy and concern is a blessing to the people of New Orleans.
I am suprised Bush is allowing help from outside the country, to be honest.

well, i did hear that Bush refused aid from other countries (what a fucking asshole!), but, as i understand it, the Dutch decided aiding the crisis is crucial and made plans to send help before recieving any official request. you know the Dutch had a really big devastation when they were hit with besides what my friend told me, i read this on a Dutch website earlier. the ship is called Hr.Ms. Van Amstel and the US Army Corps of Civil Engineers has called for the help of the water management experts of the Technische Universiteit (Technical University) Delft, Holland.
