glad ya enjoy the Deep Purple ‘Smoke On The Water’ video. [hee, whatcha mean bootleg? 😉 ] it rocks, eh? i, too, think Steve Morse does a bang-up job on lead guitar. wish i could make a trip to Europe where Deep Purple are currently touring… last time i saw them was sometime during the ‘Machine Head’ era.

We opened for Scorpions, Deep Purple and Dio a couple of years ago.
So much to say!
1. Because Saga is a Canadian band, their music is branded in my brain. I know for a fact the version of “On the Loose” you played is not the original, radio-play version. Trust me, the original version is better. The one you played sounded like a freaking MIDI version! Where did you get it?
2. OMG! Like I didn’t love you enough already! You’re going to play Ginger on every show!!! YES!!! Thank you! Have you signed him up to the Podsafe Network? Can you imagine hundreds of podcasts playing Ginger? OMG!
3. You should hook up Sam Levin with that girl–The Tech Chick. They both have…ahem…interesting personalities.
Is Sam going to be a regular guest on the show? If so, could you warn the listeners at the beginning of the show? Please?
4. Someone accused you of being racist? Hehehehe. That was the funniest part of the show.
AAA is my favorite Westerberg song to come from the last several albums. Great to hear it on the show.
When you opened for The Scorps, DP and Dio, did Ronnie James slay an animatronic dragon on stage? You’ve just gotta love 1980s metal concert theatrics.
