they dont give you the bottle cap because, they dont want people to throw sealed liquide containers, they can pack a punch,if its open it wil lose a lot of liquid, en speed, be less stabel.
that way if you do throw it, it wont be as .bad.
but still it really sucks , i agree
got tickets for Van Halen’s March 19th show at a small arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania. found good seats off the floor (cannot deal with folding chairs on the floor. it’s a rock show, ffs!) for $150. eeks.
but, never saw Van Halen before and looking forward to seeing Eddie do his thing. really hoping for EVH to tap a mean version of ‘Eruption’…
also, hoping that the distortion level at Hershey will be lower than at Oakland. gotta have my live rock loud, but i value high quality sound over high decibel sound, anytime.
so, thanks for the preview, Michael. you really got me looking forward to the show in March.
btw, you didn’t seem to have much to say about Wolfgang’s playing. any opinions or observations as far as his on-stage contributions to the band and show?
on another note… do you think i’m too old to learn to play bass? for months, have had my eye on a Jack Casady Signature Epiphone and having mid-life crisis visions of the black beauty slung low on my hip as i make my debut at the local club’s open mic night …
ok if i adopt some of your moves and playing style?
😀
